Stan Kelly-Bootle fans: READ THIS!! Stan's popular column "Devil's Advocate" appeared in Unix Review and Performance Computing magazine for years. The January 2000 demise of Performance Computing would have meant the loss of Stan's work, so we asked him to continue his column here at http://www.sarcheck.com.

Other operating systems? If you're interested in SarCheck for a flavor of UNIX that we don't currently support, see the SarCheck for other operating systems page. We use visits to these pages as one way to judge the demand for other flavors of SarCheck. If there's a specific operating system that you think we should be porting to, please let us know.
More languages? We have the ability to produce SarCheck reports in other languages if anyone is interested. The translations would be more of a Rosetta Stone than a full translation of the entire product. When SarCheck was first written in 1994, the ability to support other languages was an important consideration in how we designed it and we are ready to do a translation when you are.
Other processors? Several new processors are available and it is our intention to keep up with technology. SarCheck runs successfully on Itanium systems as well as systems using the latest SPARC and POWER chips. If you have specific questions, please ask your sales rep.
Other tools? In addition to SarCheck, we're working on several other interesting tools. One of them, ZoneHound, is designed to be an inexpensive way to monitoring the resource utilization of Solaris Zones. ZoneHound is its own tool and has its own website, but it is designed to work with SarCheck and SarCheck can use the output from ZoneHound to produce better reports.
