PLAISTOW, NH (October 1, 2003) Aptitune Corporation announces the opening of its first European office in Watford, a suburb London. After recent expansion and growth in both the US and Europe, Aptitune is pleased to offer dedicated support to its UK and European customer base from their new office in England.

Aptitune Corporation develops performance tuning utilities designed to help system administrators learn more about how their systems work by explaining resource utilization and capacity limits in plain English. Aptitune's core product SarCheck is a UNIX performance analysis and tuning tool for most Sun Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and Linux systems. SarCheck uses tools available within the operating system, primarily sar and ps, to learn how the system's resources are being utilized. It then makes recommendations for kernel tuning and hardware upgrades, based on the system's resource utilization. It produces recommendations in plain English with explanations, supporting graphs and tables.
