PLAISTOW, NH (January 1, 2002) - Effective January 1, 2002 Aurora Software, Inc. has changed the company name to Aptitune Corporation. This change does not reflect a change of ownership, management, direction or strategy. Sales representatives, phone and fax numbers, e-mail addresses and all other contact information will remain the same. Aptitune Corporation is the owner, developer and distributor of SarCheck, the UNIX performance management tool for system administrators. SarCheck is designed to assist administrators in the analysis of system performance by translating the output of several monitoring utilities in a plain English or HTML-formatted report. SarCheck identifies performance bottlenecks, finds runaway processes and memory leaks, recommends changes to various tunable parameters and hardware configurations, and quantifies remaining system capacity.
